Healthy Pet is has an immediate opening for a Sales Account Manager. You will play a crucial role in our sales and account management team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the pet specialty industry while supporting the growth and success of our business. You will work closely with senior account managers, assist in budgeting and forecasting inventory, attend trade shows, and provide essential support in various aspects of account management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of smaller, transactional accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers within this segment, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Understand customer needs and work to provide solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist customers with order processing and management.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong, customer relationships.
  • Engage customers through regular communication, understanding their business needs and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance and trends.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the account portfolio and collaborate with the sales team to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all account activities and transactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status and progress for senior management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales and account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, problem solve, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach with a customer-focused attitude.
  • This position requires up to 20% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight, including international travel.

The wage for this non commissioned position is: $67,750 – $75,000 DOE
