Job Summary: Express in Bellingham is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join a manufacturing company in Ferndale for a temporary janitorial project. This role is essential to maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency across our production facilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with physical labor, an experienced forklift operator, have recent work experience lifting up to 75lbs, and will take pride in keeping work areas clean and organized.

Pay: $20.00/hr.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM, Some Saturdays Needed
Position Type: Temporary until August, can go longer for the right fit!

Location: Ferndale, WA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Remove garbage from lunchrooms, bathrooms, and production areas in both plants.
Operate a forklift to transport and dispose of waste materials.
Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) as needed.
Retrieve and distribute blue and standard pallets to both plants throughout the day.
Assist maintenance staff in cleaning around garbage containers.
Sort waste and recyclables appropriately.
Organize and sort pallets by condition and color (broken, good, blue, red).
Count and track 70–80 blue pallets used regularly by production.
Ensure all work areas are clean and ready for the next day.
