Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a Freeze Dryer Technician for a busy food manufacturing company in Ferndale. This company operates a state-of-the-art drying system, is USDA Organic, maintains a strong “yes attitude,” and is focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for operating freeze-drying equipment, ensuring product quality, and performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting to keep equipment running efficiently. The position is primarily in a control room with some time on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of food manufacturing experience, is comfortable using Microsoft Office, and can work independently while contributing to a team. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret data and follow procedures are key to success in this role.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 DOE with increase in pay after hired on

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 am- 6:00 pm or 6:00pm-6:00am

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Running the freeze-drying machinery
Verifying product and lot numbers
Loading trolleys of product into the freeze dry chambers
Unloading trolleys after freeze drying process is complete
Monitoring controls of the chambers while freeze drying process is in effect
Performing daily, preventative, and routine maintenance on freeze drying and supporting equipment
Complete and document paperwork of all repairs and maintenance on equipment
Ensuring safe working conditions
